On Tuesday 18th October I attended Pollok R.A.C. No.519, for their installation of Office Bearers, due to unforseen circumstances and all office bearers being installed in the same office. the installation only composed of the bare minimum as required by Supreme, Obligation and a charge. The harmony was good and I did win a raffle prize
dennistoun L&C No.266
On Monday 17th October 2016 I attended Dennistoun Lodge & council No.266 for their installation. The installation went well and was performed by the installing commander Noah. the harmony was great and they soup and a meal the raffle was good with none coming my way again
never any luck in the raffles home by the usual time 11pm
St John whiteinch No 683
On Friday 14th October I attended my adopted lodge. As the first meeting after the recess, the brethren carried out an Entered Apprentice degree on a substitute candidate, it was another good meeting and i had a few pints before going home a bit later than usual
Partick No 113
On Wednesday 12th October 2016 I attended Partick R.A.C No.113 as part of the provincial visitation, We were there to witness the installation of the new M.E. Z. the installation was well performed as expected from the companions of Partick. It was a good harmony and an unusual later night
St Andrew of Glasgow No 69
On Tuesday 11th of October 2016 I attended St Andrew of Glasgow R.A.C. No 69 as part of the provincial Deputation. Due to circumstances out with the control of the chapter, Provincial assisted with the installation, I installed the Office Bearers, which I volunteered for. The installation was well performed and the companions were pleased. It was a good harmony as well as the usual Speeches and vote of thanks to the installing principals.
Alas no raffles for me.
Tolbooth & Cathedral No 67
On Monday 3rd October 2016 I attended The Reinstallation of the First principal of Tolbooth & Cathedral Royal Arch Chapter No 67. There were a few last-minute changes to the installing principals due to 1 being taken ill and another having a tyre blow out on the motorway on the way to the meeting, the substitute installing principals performed the workings perfectly. the installation went very well and we had a good harmony and a later night that usual but still early
Partick L & C No 113
On Wednesday 28th September 2016 I attended Partick L & C No 113 as part of the provincial Deputation as it was a reinstallation we did not have to leave the hall and 1 person did the installation of the W.C.N. and the office bearers. The harmony was good with the usual speeches and Raffle. Nothing for me though and the usual home time of 10:30pm
St Vincent Plantation No 259
On Tuesday 27th September 2016 I attended my Affiliate Chapter as the first principal for the A.G.M. Another poor turnout but still enough for a decent meeting. The Election of office bearers went well with the recommendation at the committee being accepted as the elected office bearers. This will be my last year in the chair as first principal and we have a new second principal who will take over from me next year . We had a good meeting and a good harmony
Cathedral L & C No 67
On Friday 23rd September 2016 I attended My Lodge and Council For the AGM. unfortunately due to the poor attendance we could no have a meeting due to only 6 members being present, So as treasurer I have to submit the accounts to the council at the installation but we had a committee meeting and talked through a number of things including recommendations for office bearers. we also changed the date of the installation to Thursday 20th October dependant on dispensation from Provincial
Another Early night but not a profitable one
Maryhill RAC No 296
On Tuesday 20th September I attended Maryhill RAC No 296 along with my usual traveling Companion It was their AGM with only enough to open it was a quick meeting, Due to work the First principal was absent along with a number of the usual members and visitors, The installation has been put off tillthe November meeting, it was a quiet and quick harmony and i won a bottle of wine but a good night
