Tuesday 23rd September 2014 I attended my other chapter where I am first principal It Was our AGM and it went well I am the first principal for another year
I also performed the affiliation of companion Samuel Whitehouse who we were glad to accept amongst us
We had a good harmony and all Masonic toasts were observed
On Thursday 18th September 2014 I visited my mother chapter for the first meeting of the new season and a change of meeting night from the 2nd Wednesday to the 3rd Thursday the fist change to the chapter meeting night since 1954. the change of meeting was to try and see if we could attract more visitors to the chapter But it was just the usual members and visitors
It was our AGM and as scribe made sure everything we needed was dealt with from; joining fees to election of office bearers Another year as Scribe for me and I am installing the office bearers next month at the annual installation but on the 3rd Friday ( booked last year in October)
We discussed who we will be inviting in to do degrees
The meeting was Good and we has a great harmony and it was a reasonably early night ( glad i was wanting to get home to watch Scottish Referendum results)
On Tuesday 16th September 2014. I visited Maryhill Royal Arch Chapter No 296 for their AGM and Election of Office bearers and they also had the vote for the next grand superintendent. It was a Quick Meeting and a good harmony
I attended the Amalgamation of Dennistoun Harmony No266 and Glasgow Caledonian of Unity No 73 into the new chapter of Dennistoun Harmony of Unity No 266
The amalgamation was carried out by the commissioned Office Bearers of Provincial Grand Royal Arch chapter of Glasgow
who performed a rededication ceremony along with the amalgamation
it was the first time I attended No 266 for a great number of years due to it being on the same night as my own chapter, This is now possible due to us changing meeting night
I attended Centaury Lodge of research on Monday 6th September 2014 where the Grand Master Mason Charles Ian Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont. Gave a lecture on his entry into the craft and his masonic career before a question and answer session in which I asked “what was his favourite degree” his answer was the Mark degree and the Royal Arch which did not go down too well with the older members of the craft
It was a good night
On Monday 1st September 2014 I went to my first Preceptory meeting since 2006
It was quite a quick meeting with discussions on the upcoming 200 years celebration on the 13th September
I have volunteered my services and will take Photos there will be representatives from Great Priory, the district Priory of Strathclyde and many others a once in a lifetime experience
I enjoyed the meeting and am looking forward to meeting new people and learning new things

I have agreed to do another year as Most Excellent Zerubbabel of St Vincent Plantation No 259 my adopted Chapter I will enjoy it and hopefully learn a little more about Myself and the Royal Arch
Arrived just after the meeting started with 1 problem there were no Aprons available so had to enter the lodge with a tea towel But I got 1 at the recess
The Degree was good carried out be a number of masters from local lodges the harmony was good and we left by 5:30pm
On June the 11th 2014 i attended the Meeting of My mother chapter
The Main decision of the chapter was who to vote for as the New Grand Superintendent A decision the chapter all agreed on
We had a quick Run through of Part of the Royal Arch Degree to asses our weak points
I also have to inform all chapters of our change of meeting night to the third thursday
Although we only had 7 members and a number of visitors it was a good night and we had a few from Clydesdale RAC
