David Stewart Gillies Posted on 23/09/2015 by dsg25709/04/2016

On Tuesday 22nd September 2015 I attended My affiliated Chapter St Vincent Plantation where I am the First Principal. It was the AGM but not as well attended as usual, It went well and I was voted back into the chair of First Principal for the 3 time  all the offices filled with ease as it was predefined at a committee meeting and everyone agreed to take the office that they were voted for as the chapter agreed the recommendations of the committee.

It was also noted that the bye-law change has been approved by supreme  We had a good meeting and a small harmony but for once it was an early night

David Stewart Gillies Posted on 14/09/2015 by dsg25709/04/2016

The first meeting for me after the Summer Recess was the installation of Dennistoun Harmony of Unity No 266 on Saturday 12th September for the installation of Douglas Auld. It was a 1pm start I was accompanied by a number of the members of St. John Royal Arch Chapter No 257. It was a well attended Meeting With a number of Chapters in Attendance The Installation was Well Done with only the 2nd Principal having to receive the chair Degree. This was the First time the installing Principal has done the 2nd Chair degree usually he does the 1st Principal and although he was nervous it was Good.
The harmony was good and one of the visitors had a collection for one of the waitresses The youngest about 11 she got around £40 in total so she was well pleased And I Did win a bottle of Wine in the raffle Which I Donated to St. John for our installation Was home ( at Daughters to collect wife ) around 5:30 pm
Great Day
