On Tuesday 26th October 2017 I attended St. Vincent Plantation No.259, My affiliated Chapter where I am the First Principal this will be my last meeting before the installation, As it was the AGM we did the usual Business as well as the Election of Office bearers where I was VOTED out of the office of First Principal and elected 1st Sojourned. I am happy to have been ousted from office after 4 years and will happily support the new First Principal in his first term as M.E.Z. unfortunately I will not be able to see him being installed as I will be busy installing the Office Bearers. A good Meeting and an earlier night than usual

Cathedral L&C No 67

David Stewart Gillies Posted on 23/09/2017 by dsg25701/01/2018

On Friday 22nd September 2017 I attended my Lodge & Council Cathedral No.67 Unfortunatly  we did not have enough members to Open, so we had a committee meeting  and it was pointed out that we are the second oldest Lodge and Council in Scotland. As we actually consist of members from 3 different Lodge & councils Cathedral No.67 , Caledonian of Unity No. 73 and Plantation no 259. We have decided to  contact all chapters in Glasgow to try to get the members back to meetings. This will be an uphill struggle there will be many reasons why these members do not attend from being old to clash of meeting night. The AGM will have to take place before the installation in October
